Perfume Factory Campus Masterplanning

Through 2016 and 2017, Voreda established a flexible framework Masterplan, working with Imperial College London, for the re-development of the Perfume Factory site in North Acton. Voreda were appointed as Development Managers to select a suitable design team, manage the full design and planning process and then select a suitable Main Contractor to deliver the project. Voreda achieved detailed planning consent in a very rapid 16 week timescale and, following a successful single stage D&B tender, Ardmore were selected to deliver the project and commenced work on site in late 2017.

The 40,000 sqm mixed-use campus provides a variety of complementary uses centred on student living around an urban square. The consented scheme delivers:

  • 750 student accommodation units in an iconic 37 storey tower
  • Separate block of 85 apartments for College Key Workers and PRS lets
  • 4,000 sqm of office space designed to accommodate College technology partners
  • Active frontages around an open campus square
